Acne Scar Removing Creams

The right acne scar removing creams can significantly diminish and get rid of the scars and marks left by acne. However, many products on the market today simply don't deliver the impressive results they promise.

There are many products that claim they can help get rid of acne scars; but, in my experience, a lot of them do absolutely nothing.

I have tried tons of different products and this is my independent and honest list of the best acne scar removing creams currently on the market that actually work.

No one is paying me to suggest these products, these are just the products that I have found to really help my skin and acne scars tremendously.

Everyone's skin is different, but below are the top acne scar removing creams that I have found to really work.

Top 4 Acne Scar Removing Creams

1) BABOR - Advanced Biogen Intensive Repair

This is my personal favorite of the acne scar removing creams.

It is an intensive treatment cream that visibly smooths the skin's surface. This cream helps regenerate the skin's properties and is extremely effective on minor abrasions, dehydrated oily skin, scarring, or just any damaged skin that needs to heal.

The manufacturer says that it is "ideal for problem skin once blemishes have subsided"; however, I use this product daily
and it hasn't caused me to breakout.

I honestly noticed a difference in my skin in a matter of days after using this product.

You can apply it anytime, day or night. And you should wet fingertips and massage until it is absorbed.

2) Tammy Fender - Intensive Repair Balm

This cream definitely delivers on its claims, and it did help diminish my acne scars when I used it. But I felt like it made me breakout a little bit which is why I list it as my second favorite of the acne scar removing creams.

Here is the information from the manufacturer's website:

A powerful cell regenerating, pain reducing, anti-inflammatory healing crème. This revolutionary balm has a remarkable ability to repair tissue damage and assist in the healing of surgical and acne scars; aids in reducing tissue pain, redness of the skin, and skin discoloration. Strengthens weakened capillaries and fades under eye circles. Stimulates new cell growth, increases elasticity, and tightens the connective tissue, simultaneously serving as a moisture barrier.

  • Supplies mega dose of essential healing nutrients
  • Promotes intense hydration
  • Increases circulation to speed up the healing process
  • Tightens connective tissue
  • Calms & nourishes inflamed skin

3) Sonya Dakar Complexion Corrector

Sonya Dakar (a line used by many celebrities with problem skin) has an entire set of products dedicated to improving scarring.

I used the products for a few months and felt that they did definitely improve the appearance and texture of my skin, but I'm just too lazy to apply multiple products on top of each other every day.

I just like having one go-to product. So that's why I didn't continue with this line; however, the products do work and if you're not lazy like me then they may be the perfect solution for you!

If you are interested in just testing one product from the line before buying the whole set, I would suggest the Complexion Corrector. But if you want a significant improvement, you really need to use the whole line of scarring products together.

4) M2 Skin Care HP Skin Refinish 20%

M2 Skin Refinish is a product made up of high-potency Mandelic and Malic Acid. The manufacturer states that the entire M2 Skin Care line is "designed to tackle the most troublesome skin affected by aging, fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne, or acne scarring, the unique formulas will transform skin from flawed to flawless."

I tried the whole line (cleanser, treatment, moisturizer) but the one product I found to be most impressive was the M2 Skin Refinish corrective treatment. It comes in two concentrations, 20% and 12%, with the 20% obviously being more powerful but also more likely to upset sensitive skin.

This product was previously known as MaMa Lotion and it claims to "rapidly even skin tone, reduce breakouts, and soften wrinkles. Ideal for all skin types, especially hyperpigmented, mature, and acne-prone,
who want a smooth, even complexion.
Recommended for all skin tones, including dark skin."

I found that this product really did do all of the things it claimed it would. My only issue with it was that you have to wait 10-15 minutes for it to dry before applying moisturizer (I'm just too impatient for that!) and it also made my skin a little red and irritated.

However, this is likely due to the fact that I was using it too often or using too much of it. The instructions say to use it only every other night for the first two months, but I was so eager for fast results that I didn't follow this advice. Woops!

So these are the acne scar removing creams that I found really worked out of the tons I have tried. Again, they are pretty expensive but if you think about it, splurging on one excellent and effective product is much better than buying a bunch of different cheap products that don’t really work.
